Tamino

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 14, 2026

These Terms govern the use of the Tamino website, Backoffice, payments API and app for iOS and Android, offered by TAMINO TECNOLOGIA, SERVIÇOS E PAGAMENTOS EIRELI, CNPJ 35.067.829/0001-96. By creating an account or using any of these services, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.

1. The service

Tamino provides white-label payments technology — Pix charges, cards and boletos, routing across providers, balance, statements and payouts — to companies (tenants), their merchants and sales managers.

Transactions are settled by partner payment institutions and banks, which may have their own rules. Tamino is not a financial institution and does not grant credit.

2. Registration and account

  • Access is restricted to people over 18 representing companies approved by Tamino or by a tenant.
  • You must provide true information and keep it up to date, including what is required for anti-money-laundering and know-your-customer (KYC) checks.
  • Login, password and two-step verification codes are personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for everything done with your account and must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Permitted use and prohibitions

You may not use Tamino for:

  • fraud, scams or misleading charges — including charges that impersonate public bodies, taxes, government fees, banks or other companies;
  • selling illegal products or services, those prohibited by card network or partner rules, or without the required authorizations;
  • money laundering, terrorist financing, unauthorized gambling or any unlawful activity;
  • attempting to access third-party data, bypass limits, attack, overload or reverse-engineer the platform.

4. Fees

Per-transaction and payout fees are those agreed with each customer and are shown in the Backoffice. They are deducted automatically from the amount received or from the payout. Fee changes are announced in advance.

5. Balance, payouts, limits and holds

  • The available balance reflects confirmed sales, net of fees, refunds and holds.
  • Payouts are made via Pix to keys you provide and may have daily, amount and count limits, and may require additional approval.
  • To meet legal obligations, Central Bank and partner rules, or to protect buyers, Tamino may hold amounts, block balance, cap the amount per charge, refuse specific amounts or temporarily suspend collections and payouts — including while disputes (MED, chargebacks) or suspected fraud are pending.
  • Amounts returned to buyers after a successful dispute are debited from the balance of the customer responsible for the sale; if the balance is insufficient, the amount remains owed.

6. Customer responsibilities

  • Deliver the products and services sold and support your buyers, including exchanges, cancellations and complaints.
  • Comply with the laws applicable to your business, including consumer protection, tax law and the LGPD regarding your buyers' data.
  • Answer for disputes, refunds and penalties arising from your sales.

7. Suspension and termination

Tamino may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, show a high risk of fraud or disputes, or when required by law or by partners. You may close your account at any time; pending, held or disputed amounts are released or offset only after each case and the legal deadlines are resolved.

8. Availability

We work to keep the platform available and secure, but it may be unavailable due to maintenance, partner or third-party failures and events beyond our control. Whenever possible, we will announce scheduled maintenance.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Tamino is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or losses arising from misuse of the account, incorrect information provided by the customer, failures of partner institutions or acts of third parties. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived by law.

10. Intellectual property

The Tamino software, brand, app and documentation are protected by law. Using the platform transfers no rights over them, except a limited, non-exclusive and revocable license to use it while the account is active.

11. Privacy

Personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. The last update date is shown at the top of the page; relevant changes will be communicated through our channels. Continuing to use the services afterwards means you accept the new version.

13. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The courts of the City of São Paulo/SP are chosen to settle any dispute, except for the consumer's domicile when the law so requires.
